Why do I use Pre-built UI ?

We recommend using Pre-built UI if:

  • You are not PCI compliant or
  • You are not willing to fill in the SAQ A-EP form

If you are PCI SAQ A-EP compliant or willing to become so, we recommend you build your own payment form to take card details.

Pre-built UI Options

Afterpay Paynow offers following pre-built UI solutions for accepting payments:

  • Individual Payment Form is a pre-built checkout. Allows for more flexibility in how Merchants can present payment methods in their checkout.

  • Consolidated Payment Form is a pre-built checkout.
    It is quicker to integrate, but allows for less control over your payments UI.

In addition to integrating Individual or Consolidated Payment Forms into your website or app, you will also need to set up a server to communicate with APT's APIs.

Individual Payment Form

Separate Payment Forms allow for more flexibility in how Merchants can present payment methods in their checkout. Forms (payment method option) will provide more control on how merchant presents their payments UI. The forms render similarly to Drop-in

Each form (payment method option) will render a prebuilt form and merchant will be able to use these building blocks for their own checkout. This will require more front-end work but it will give you more control over how and where payment methods are presented within your website or app.

The following customisations will be available for each Form

  • Styling - you can match the style of the checkout to your brand
  • Language - allow you to offer different languages to your customers

This solution currently supports card payments, PayPal and Afterpay payment methods

Consolidated Payment Form

Consolidated Payment Form solution allows you to integrate quickly, without requiring to undertake significant front-end development work.
